the absolute funniest thing would be a half-dozen republicants in a protest vote, voting for a democrat for speaker… handing the gavel to jeffries.
It would be even funnier if he then doesn’t certify the election citing 14-3, but that’s about as likely as the military doing the right thing on the 20th.
Well, I don’t want him in office, but what is that going to say about the election process? Technically, conspiracy theories ignored, he won. Not certifying it means chaos… that will probably be poorly managed.
