Holy cow, is the apartment rent controlled?
The rate is not mentioned in the story. Southeast Austin is going to be marginally cheaper than other areas of town, but a 1/1 generally runs about $1,300 here.
Took a bit to finally hit the original KVUE source. Southeast is what I like to hear. Not that I enjoy the suffering of others (we should really get a word for that), just that I’m in Northwest Austin.
