  • Believe what you want I really don’t give a shit. I voted Jill Stein in 2012 and I have to live with that forever. At least I can somewhat justify it but barely. Knowing what we know now? It’s impossible to justify. I also notice you chose not to respond to the criticism of how she only denounced Putin a few months ago. These accusations about her have existed for years, she was well aware of them. Ukraine was not invaded just a few months ago. This has been an open question about her for several years now and she should have addressed it well before then. Too little too late.

    Yeah, you’re on your own.

  • Third parties fuck off for 3.5 years, show up for the general asking why nobody takes them seriously, whine through the election, and disappear again. Over and over and over. It’s pitiful.

Run for local office if you’re serious, third parties. At least the libertarian party actually goes for them, that’s literally the only good thing I can say about them: they’re the only third party that puts in work all year every year.

  • You don’t need a NAS or RAID to have a decent media streaming setup. I have a 42TB RAID5 and I use a 5TB Sandisk SSD as my daily driver on a 8 year old Lenovo running elementary OS. Can support probably 4 streams simultaneously before it’s chugging.

    • Look into plex (people will whine about this but I say do it given your current comfort level - Jellyfin is likely not a good option for you yet)

    • Get some external drives (research “3-2-1 backup” if you want industry standard practices to protect against data loss)

    • Get a battery backup surge protector. These kick on when power goes out and protects your hardware better.

    Good luck!
