I’ve never heard of these. Which is not a bad thing, but I wouldn’t recommend for beginers

I don’t do it often, and never remember how I should handle the io if nginx is in a docker and the services is in another. So this let’s me try things quickly
There is just so much wrong with this. It’s not a hot take. Its a bad one. The dislikes speak for themselves.
Its just a long pointless rant by like 3 people and “many developers” (which judging by the way that end part is written I’m guessing it’s just one guy and 2 developers
I was going to say “oh. This is an old post that just surfaced” but that does not seem to be the case. Someone is wrong in 2025

Like how i would sort them newest fisrt, and grouo by conversation. But then when i got a coversation and expanded it. I had to scroll all the way to the bottom to se the latest. Of the last update I got that deleted everything.
I might go back to it. But it’s not perfect

The pitch is “go broke, because the rules are changing week by week and choosing either could mean losing massive amounts of money. You may be better off quitting while you are ahead.”
Thank you for the patience and understanding. I love these kind of internet exchanges where opinion and ideas are exchanged and nobody is rude
I now understand what they mean, but I stand by my coment because it does seem to blame bosses. It’s just a matter of wording
I didn’t read it all. But I think we agree. The problem is owners. Not bosses. People who get to do nothing and still get paid
What do you think a boss does? They are also employees.
You are assuming that bosses do nothing. They add value. Not all of them, but in general they do. At my work place we pretty much begged my boss to please hire someone between him and us to manage tasks. Because my boss adds value Ina bunch of ways but he was so busy he could spare the time for the things we needed him so year long projects failed.
Its not the first time I’ve heard this, but I’m not sure I agree with this sentiment. The product I produce only has the value it has, because a lot of people work to make it so. And a huge part of that is managing costumers, understanding them prioritizing they requests and managing a team. If my workgets sold for 100 I would only be able to sell it at 50 because I do not have the costumer relationship

I said “if that were true then scubba divers would have the highest rate of cancer ever” and he failed to understand my point. Only then I realized that I was talking with someone unwilling to listen
The problem it that people don’t acknowledge their ignorance not because they didn’t realized it was an option, but because they think they know everything. And if you acknowledge your own ognorace in front of them, they take it to mean that they are superior and will mansplain everything
Once I said I do not know how cancer forms, my boss went off to tell me how it was because of the lack of oxygen so the mask we wore for covid was causing us all cancer. Fucking clown
