When i post a comment and someone like it. I get a notifications saying that someone liked my post and when click on it, it is just the comment i wrote. I have to always click view post to see the context of my comment

id suspect that its because lemmy is designed around threads/groups and pixelfed is designed around post/microblog. this is just how theyve implemented the data coming from lemmy. i thought i read they are working at creating a better group integration which would make the flow from lemmy more natural.
also, lemmy just isnt designed around ‘following’ or being followed by individual users… so crossing that bridge is difficult to implement.
