Honestly, I kinda miss it. I made some actual friends in the rainbow 6 3 lobby and on halo 2. Nowadays everyone is in a private party, and it’s rare to interact with randoms.
Agreed. I made an effort to meet new people and friends when destiny originally launched. We had a rocking clan that eventually tuned down into 8 core… then they slowly dwindled. Once we got below 6 and could raid anymore, no one wanted to make a new friend, so we all kinda fizzled out.
Proximity chat, or even team chat could have fixed so much of that
