My friend keeps telling me to watch kpop demon hunters. I am almost certain it’s a mid tier garbage movie but just because it has a couple catchy songs and good animation it appeals to the general masses.

Yeah I kinda agree. But the hype it’s getting is mostly from tweens and fans of K-pop. It was never going to the most amazing movie ever. I think it’s getting lots of praise because compared to all the Disney classics it’s different, and I’d say more enjoyable you watch. It’s just a kind of refreshing take on the genre. My kids both love it, and I like it so it’s a win for me 😅
