393·17 days agoI don’t dislike LLMs, I dislike people who treat them as anything more than an advanced search engine and stupidly give them all their confidential data. Seen it happen too much at work.

191·2 months agoIt’s just chemicals discovered on this planet that are usually produced biologically on Earth. This doesn’t mean there’s life on that planet. It could just mean that there are other methods of producing these chemicals other than biologically. Some scientists aren’t even sure that these are the correct chemicals. Planet (124 LY) is too far away to send a probe, so it will all be through calculation.
For some reason, the way the car is drawn makes my brain thinks it’s the rear tire, meaning the car is moving away from the person…
When I started fishing as a hobby, I couldn’t believe that it was the only hobby I’ve ever taken up that pretty much had unanimous recommendations for beginners. Everyone seemed to suggest the Ugly Stik GX2 on every website or forum. And there were no threads about how I should buy a more expensive rod/reel, other than a few that mentioned that I might want to upgrade the reel on the GX2 after a year or so.
Even the salesperson at the Bass Pro Shops store recommended the GX2 even though I could have afforded a bit more.
It was a completely new experience for me. I am used to having to spend at least $300-400 on initial investments for new hobbies. Fishing was only CAD$120 for everything!
What’s not normal is this Orca hunting a shark alone. Orca usually hunt in pods.
Although I haven’t played a lot of gam es you play, at least not enough to have a discussion, I upvote every time out of sheer admiration for your dedication to post every day. Most days I have to remind myself multiple times to brush my teeth.
