  • As a former listener I just enjoyed that he had people on I both wanted to hear from and people who were talking about shit I never heard of so it filled din as background noise while working. Even when he was misinformed it was merely the topic of the day. Sometime around when he had Dan Crenshaw on for the first time is when I remember him really digging into weird rightwing talking points. Once covid hit it was over. It was like he moved into an ego silo and he wouldnt even let his guests provide a point of view he didn’t agree with or understand. Every episode became about COVID and the woke left. He really is a fucking misinformation machine who can get away with it because everyone knows he is that fucking stupid.

When I worked as a IT Tech at a University years ago we had a lot of MacOS users who believed they could just pick it up and use it like their iPhone. It was absurd how well their marketing worked because those users either forced themselves to learn it or dropped it and went back to Windows.

I know a lot of iOS users who have iPads and iPhones but still have windows PCs because they don’t have to worry about compatibility issues.

  • I think that’s actually closer to the mark than many realize. Awards are great when they are not directed at the company or it’s rep in a negative manner as they show positive engagement and help the company with sales marketing. When awards and upvote/downvote counters are used to highlight that the users are having a negative experience then it hurts the platform image. Similarly to how YouTube removed the downvote tracker because their marketing team realized it hurt their sales revenue with business partners.
