Inanimate objects don’t have genders or facial expressions either; so by using a magical thing called context clues they’re probably just continuing the OP’s joke. By all means keep huffing your own farts if it makes you feel better though.

  • It’s nothing to do with W/L it’s because it fucks your team mates (and essentially everyone else, who now are devoid of a proper match) in RL. One of the many reasons I never stuck by RL was other players. People would so frequently just trash talk you when you’re learning and then fuck off out of the match, leaving you to get rolled by two players. These players would frequently be worse too. At least if you get rolled with a full team, you’ll probably learn something.

RL and games with low team player counts I 100% understand it for. It’s a punishment for selfish players. In a match with bots less so but I guess if you’re doing bad enough to be matched with bots they probably want to to stay and learn to play.

  • Man I bought one of those windows phones, the Lumia 920 and boy did it suck. Had bugger all apps. I feel like I had it for nearly a year before I got sick of it. YouTube app was constantly borked and would crash frequently. The fb app once they got it going just felt like a shitty web app disguised as an app. And that was it, like they just released the phone OS and the Lumia series and just hoped devs would come across to the platform. One of the few times I tried to get off iOS and boy did it burn me hard. Hey at least the screen was strong enough to hammer in nails. So free hammer?

  • No offence but that’s shortsighted to be generous. I feel like half of lemmy will carry on about social media being cancer, the frequent articles citing negative effects of SM on mental health and the fact that multiple social media companies are accused of propagating misinformation (Zuckerberg face sure is in lemmy a lot lately for some reason). Like Zuck has all but greenlit harassing lgbt+ people on FB and the SM ban is to stop gay kids finding a community? Please. Corporate SM is a blight and before someone says lemmy/reddit check the mod logs or the fact that lemmy only got CSAM under control relatively recently before suggesting it’s fine for kids.

  • Way more teenagers smoke than people realise. I’m not saying it’s a coincidence, I’m saying it has nothing to do with the “flavours”. To claim otherwise without proof is moronic and feeding into propaganda perpetuated by governments to outlaw vapes because dummies always fall for the “think of the children” nonsense.

  • This isn’t your generator though, did you write these image generators, the UI? Maybe if you’re hosting locally I can understand but even then you’re using other people LLMs that take time, effort and money (if they train/test on GPU farms). There are also open source models you can use locally.

I think it’s perfectly reasonable for the people who provide these tools/resources to state their terms and in my opinion, taking issue with that and attempting to skirt it, is entitlement. Especially if the service is online since they have cost (licensing the model, server cost) to pay for.

I’m not upset I didn’t think of it because I think it’s a bad idea, if that wasn’t apparent. I’m not super interested in supporting perchance as I host LLMs and generators locally for privacy and greater control. Personally I think you should consider hosting locally if you want greater control/ownership over what you generate.

Edit: exif scrubbers have existed since image board days too btw like this

We work hard to perfect our Prompts to generate stunning images we can use— hopefully, freely and limitless.

I can kinda see that comics point with the term “prompt fondlers” (I thought this was a Unix surrealism comic but I cannot for the life of me find it). Crazy to think that’s “hard” work but the people actually developing these AI and tool sets? Nah fuck em, lazy bastards. Also I doubt stripping meta data means you own shit and is probably only one of the mechanisms these companies use for enforcing copyright.

Also colour me surprised perchance wants anything to do with tools that fuck with other companies copyright. Seems like a great way to invite unwanted legal attention.
