Partially yes absolutely. Some regions with more and more dams have recently experienced devastating floods, suggesting they‘ve tempered with nature a little too much. And yes, some of those new highspeed rails are barely ever used and mainly serve a symbolic purpose, namely connecting outer regions to the central power in Beijing in some way or form. Nearly nobody uses those and the best case scenario for them would be a war so they can transport masses of troops quickly.

What makes BG3 so great is that it doesn‘t just have voice acting, it has full acting. The actor of Astarion worked for 4 years on it and claimed it was the equivalent to shooting 4 seasons of a TV show. It‘s a huge scope that almost nobody can or want to afford. I mean those studios who can just don‘t take that part very seriously and are eyeing with simply opting to use AI instead. I doubt it will ever be recreated, maybe not even by Larian themselves.
It currently belongs to Viant Technology LLC, an advertising company that’s deeply invested into the AI bubble. Perhaps they’ll sell it off after the crash but honestly, MySpace’s downfall and sellout is kind of what’s wrong with Internet culture anyway so I don’t see any benefit in a restart. I’d rather see a complete reset.
I’m not convinced bundling a losing business with an utterly inflated one is the right move to attract investors but then again you shouldn’t invest in an oligarchy in the first place.
Mars colonies are mainly a terrible idea because companies like SpaceX ruin our living space on earth to get ahead. Just look around their launch sites that have transformed once vibrant ecosystems into a post apocalyptic hellscape. It‘s simply unsustainable to ruin a livable planet in order to colonize a dead rock. The whole Mars mission is a scam from that perspective alone. I think even entertaining the idea of a Mars colony and debating about it‘s independence from Earth is missing the point.

So they literally agree not using an LLM would increase your framerate. Also what would the machine know that the Internet couldn‘t answer as or more quickly while using fewer resources anyway? I‘m just saying this is an actually bad use case for AI precisely because it relies on the very hardware you‘re likely allocating to something else when you need it while there are better alternatives already. 8B models are fairly limited and still won‘t run very quickly or at all on slightly less beefy graphics cards than their horrendously expensive flagships of recent years while you‘re running a recent game. There just aren‘t all that many resources you can snatch from the process without crashing it.

I won’t lie, I’m only interested in the new Pro controller. My old one has slight stick drift which absolutely sucks of course but it’s over 7 years old and feels so much better than anything else on the market. I also prefer the Nintendo button layout over Microsoft’s so it’s an easy purchase.
