Is 256gb RAM enough for YouTube?
Yeah, Snopes says Snopes is still reliable, so it’s all good.

Yeah, I’m looking to switch from iPhone to Pixel soon, but I’ll be keeping my AM sub. Had it since the day it launched, and it’s been great.
Yeah, I’m aware of both of them but have spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to figure out how to get them to work. I’m fairly new to Linux, and the instructions for both seem to assume a certain amount of expertise.
Oh, and as I type this I’ve remembered that I did manage to get one of them to work, but something to do with the way it downloads the videos means that you need to install a Plex plugin of some description because Plex won’t recognise the metadata or some shit.
So for the time being I’m happy enough to fanny about with my manual method. Between my wife and I it takes up about ten minutes every couple of days, and that’s ok.
It’s a bit of a faff, but I use FreeTube to grab the URLs which I then drop into a yt-dlp command that I use to download my subscriptions to watch on Plex on my Apple TV. Works a treat, though I wish I could get Plex to display them properly.
Super ironic that Apple are working with NVIDIA, and have launched their own AI offering, but you can’t connect any kind of GPU to any Mac that they currently sell.
I have a mini specifically because I didn’t want a surfboard for a phone.
They knew their judo well.
No, Apple Intelligence simply does not exist on any iPhone below a 15 Pro.
As the owner of a 13 Mini; what’s that?
We didn’t get anything at all from 18.1. There is literally nothing on my phone to tell me that it exists.
However, I do have it on both of my Macs, and have yet to do anything with it. I’m not in any hurry to bother either.
Oh, that’s a shame. I was on the TestFlight for Mammoth right back at the start, when everyone was looking for a decent app because Twitter had just murdered Tweetbot.
It was a fine app, but Ivory ended up being slightly more fine.
And the other half are lying.
Y’know, there’s a part of me that can’t help but feel that these people genuinely don’t realise that the public despises them.
If you reach that level of business, you’ve been so removed from every day life for so long that you’d have absolutely no idea what your customers think. These people don’t use social media like normal folks, so they have no clue what’s said about them. They’re so ensconced in their companies that they truly believe the brand values that their marketing department came up with. They truly, honestly believe that they’re bringing good to the world as much as they can.
No. The shareholders won’t like this.
$28bn is A Lot Of Fucking Money, my dude. Like…a lot.
At a rate of $20 an hour, it would take a person almost 160,000 years to earn that kind of money.
Britain is where the Canuckians got that from. Our colonies ranged very far and very wide, and for that we’re very sorry.
I’m not from NYC, or even the US, but unless I’m mistaken, if you can afford to store a car there in order to be able to drive around, then you can almost certainly afford to pay a congestion charge.
London has had a CC for a number of years now, and it isn’t a problem at all. The overwhelming majority of people who travel into the areas affected by it just take public transport. Hell, I lived up there for several years and despite owning a car I never once had to pay to drive in the charge zone.
