Thank you for making this! It already is improving using DDG! :) The number of times I’ve given up searching because of AI slop and bad links in the past month has been surprising, so this is really nice to have :)

This was funnily what got me considering binning my account, (then Cambridge Analytica being in the news made it a thing I went through with).

I discovered that filtering out sponsored, friends-of-friends, shared posts, and sorting by most recent, there were 3 posts maximum each day written by someone I know! :) It made me realise how manipulative the site was, how frequently I “checked the fridge”, and how little I might actually miss. :)

Not the aims of fbpurity, but damn I’m happier since binning facebook :)

That sounds brilliant! In case you don’t get your chance to boogie through a game, your idea reminded me of Party Pal in Wasteland 3 - a bringer of joy to my many battles!

I loved this game! It’s great to hear someone else’s feeling on it, you’re totally right about the interface, but it was easy to forgive its limitations because of how engaged I was. :) I loved the feeling of frantic problem solving as you connect the dots near the end on things.

That was a fascinating rabbit hole. I went reading lots about the author and his life, and damn it is too late to be pondering about art and how this talented person lives. I admire it, but it’s a complicated feeling to get at 1am!

I have been waiting for the AEW Wrestling game Fight Forever to be cheap, and am having a lovely time! It’s very fun to play, and has an okay roster (i got DLC with it).

I wouldn’t be thrilled with buying on release at £50 and then £80 on DLC, but under 20 for the lot seemed okay :) definitely not perfect, but a fun game with some cool details. :)

I feel bad (job losses are bad), but I need to note the Tea/teeter pun in the headline.

Ooh I notice nobody has mentioned Wasteland 3 - it totally slipped under my radar, it is a fastastic RPG, with a fun story and good combat! :) It’s what I’d love fallout to be :)

edit: thank you, I just poked into YouTube Revanced, and found DeArrow was on! This explains why I didn’t like youtube’s content when on my PC, so I’ll 100% be adding this to Firefox! :)

Thank you! This is going to sound daft, but I had forgotten steam allows you to uncheck DLC like that! :) it’s so rare that I’d opt-out (in fact this might be the only time I have needed to!) :) thank you again

Oh no! I’m so cosy on mint, but now I’m eyeing Fedora and it looks snazzy, and maybe cyberpunk is a fun prospect too! :)

How odd! I must admit with cyberpunk, I was reading ProtonDB and had a “that’s one fine game… why doesn’t mine look like that!” Simpsons moment. 😅

I am indeed! I tried popping in the skip launcher commands from a few people on ProtonDB, and it seems to be rather grumpy with me 😅 I’ve read it could be the Phantom Liberty DLC being DRM’d, but not sure :)
