I love the duckie!
Here’s where I’d put my pronouns IF I HAD ANY
Software engineer, massive computer science nerd, sucks at video games, lived all across the US. Former conservative turned total leftist.
Trying out the name Hope.
I love the duckie!
My brother got Lil Gator Game for me last Christmas for Secret Santa. I highly recommend it, it is amazingly charming.
It’s a reference to a reddit user (https://www.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/comments/1gnxkgd/comment/lweabef/) who would post these intricate comments with these really engaging stories that would then end with that last paragraph, which describes the events of a 1998 wrestling show where the wrestler The Undertaker threw the wrestler Mankind (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mankind_vs._The_Undertaker) and the type of wrestling match (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell_in_a_Cell ).
He’s been the CEO of UnitedHealth Group for 3 years now. UnitedHealth Care is a subsidiary, their CEO was the one shot. Best I can tell they haven’t announced a replacement yet.
If it seems small that’s because UnitedHealthcare is the insurance arm of UnitedHealth Group, which has its own CEO more in line with the other salaries listed. CVS Health, for example, has Aetna and other insurance arms under it, and the CEO listed was the (former) CEO of that top level company.
Felt it like a hundred miles inland too. Really deep slow rumbles here.
It was a quote from the TV show Scrubs about Arnold Palmer.
Yeah I really don’t get who this is protecting, how it is improving the military in any way, saving any money, or anything else that could pass for an excuse besides just plain old hate.
It sounds like you’re just trying to be contrarian? Do you have any reason whatsoever to not believe the article? I understand doubting the article, but it seems you’ve just decided that it is exactly the opposite of the truth, which I don’t get.
Holy moly that would save so much time. I already kind of cheat and mostly do my thighs now that it is winter, since I don’t really feel my shin hair normally.
Maybe the man who famously got rich, spun out a million dollar McLaren F1 sending it sailing through the air shattering all the windows and damaging the body and suspension heavily, who then said to his passenger “You know, I had read all these stories about people who made money and bought sports cars and crashed them. But I knew it would never happen to me, so I didn’t get any insurance” shouldn’t be driving either.
These bans don’t even just hurt trans people. It’s stupidly common too, given that I’d expect the number of times people get harassed for using bathrooms to be exactly 0:
Incidentally, has anyone ever done less to become famous? I mean, yay for me I mixed two drinks together!
For my anniversary dinner last night I wore a cute green sweater and sweatpants and my wife was like, wtf are you doing it’s 104F out.
Anyways, dress for the weather you want not the weather you have.
It looks like the average is 11 PTO days a year according to Forbes, with nearly a third of employees getting zero. I myself get 24 days a year with it going up to 29 in about a year. That said I’m terrified of being effed over by layoffs so I’ve been hoarding them like a dragon for the payout, which is arguably way way worse than having a nice federal minimum of PTO days.
The country of Brazil makes something like 20x Musk’s total net worth, but every year.
In published media it’s getting really frustrating to find articles that seem like honest reviews. The NYT did an article on toaster recommendations and they praised one for having something like a 3 year warranty because “toasters aren’t known for their longevity.”
That page looks to only show polls and has the actual model paywalled?
I think they were trying to say slightly more Republicans found it unfair than found the verdict incorrect
Just scrolling through shorts on a given day, I’m usually recommended at least one short by someone infamously hostile to the LGBTQIA+ community. I get that it could be from people with my interests hate-watching, but I don’t want to be shown any of it. (Nearly all of my YouTube subscriptions are to LGBTQIA+ creators. I’m not subscribed to anyone who has ever even mentioned support for right leaning policies on anything.)
