No, because it devalues their click through, as no sales will result from those clicks.
It’s kinda like printing money, there’s more of it, but the overall value hasn’t increased.
Couple of issues I’m wondering about…
First, wouldn’t clicking on everything just make you easier to track?
Second, how much bandwidth would all this use?
It’s weird being almost a day ahead of most Lemmy users, it’s 3pm on the 2nd over here.
I’d hope there are severe penalties for abusing the process.
Well, that’s somewhat reassuring.
Still reprehensible that it’s being used that way, of course.
I almost respect you for taking a stance so blatantly against what most people believe.
Almost.
What the fuck is AI being trained on to produce the stuff?
It’s still up year on year, and last six months, although heading downwards.
People who defend modern day Russia, and the many terrible things they do.
Most notably blaming NATO, or “US imperialism” for the multiple countries being invaded.
That is a fair point, but for this to happen, there must have been a fair few who just didn’t see much difference between the two parties.
You should really ask yourself why so many people just didn’t see the point in voting.
when that opposition to NATO turns into Russian apologism.
It almost always does. They’re a defence pact, which is only activated when a member state is attacked, and the people who oppose them are, without any exception I’ve ever seen, people who think Russia should be free to invade their neighbors.
My username is actually a Dr Strangelove reference, yes.
God I love that movie.
You genuinely don’t think Russia is a threat to its neighbours, do you?
Riiiight. Sure.
Nothing to do with the fact that pretty much every country that borders Russia has been invaded by them.
The fact that the US is inherently a two party system is the biggest factor holding them back, in my view.
I’m very glad where I live has an MMP system, meaning a government is usually a coalition, and it’s quite possible for a new party to enter politics.
