Every single review I saw said the same thing. Its amazing tech, with a big price tag and nobody knew who is it for. The magic wore off pretty quickly and nobody wanted to use it long term.
Would a mass test have this kind of marketing though?
It failed, no need to dance around the subject. It was a very expensive demo product, and nobody wants it.
Yes, once you build a new PC, you can only play demanding games! Thats how we all do it
Terraria, 480 hours. Every time Im done with the game a new major update comes out and I start a new playthrough.
Cant go wrong with Grim Dawn. One of the best modern arpgs with regular huge updates, expansions and modding support.
Im familiar with the mod, but its a mod, the game was designed to be played the way you always balancing on a knives edge. So not much time to enjoy the content (for me at least), when you have constantly ticking clocks reminding you to hurry up.
Ist too bad Xcom games are so focused on time limits. I know it meant to add to the tension but its just frustrating to me to non-stop rush everything.
Loved the trailer, even though the first game was “only” a 7/10 for me. Regardless looking forward to this, Obsidian is making great games consistently.
If the main menu music will be only half as good as the original Im sold :D
Friendly neighborhood triple-homocide man
One of the best tech purchases of my life. Also it was a neat intro for Linux gaming :)
I’M GONNA PUT MY PAIN INTO YOUR SOUL! (Krieg, BL 2)
Same. Since the Win 11 update on my work laptop I got so fed up with the OS, that I installed Linux on both of my desktop PC and my wifes laptop. Zero regrets, no more MS bullshit on my personal stuff.

My wifes old laptop died and I got an ancient gaming laptop from a colleague and put Linux Mint on it. It works great.
She uses it for studying and some light gaming (Stardew Valley). It just works. She never used Linux before but had zero issues using it and she even said its just like Windows, just faster.
Its just not sustainable for my adult life to log in to whatever live service trash daily and compete agains faceless humans, who have more free time and advantage against a casual player.
Also the state of live service games is pure trash for decades now. Everything needs to be a copy of the 3 most popular titles with some kind of rpg progression and cosmetic items for real world money.
It looks like he is coming out of the tree
Building a new PC soon and really thinking about to try out one of the more gaming focused distros, so happy to see there will be multiple to choose from. I’m on Mint for a while now and had very good experience with gaming and performance. Normally I would not have time to do the whole “distro hop” thing, but damn I just might :)
