They were ionized?
Lol, I thought of this comment immediately after finding out
I don’t know how many times I’ve seen “red hat”, “magat”, “trumpist”, etc… as a pejorative. I’m no fan of right wing policy or Trump’s cult of personality, but let’s be honest, leftists and progressives deride their supporters just as much as their leaders. The racist uncle trope and face eating leopard party are perfect examples of a permission structure for infighting instead of fighting the real enemies of the working class. I have fallen victim to this mentality myself, but we have to face our own faults clear eyed and with humility. It’s not both sides, but the whole spectrum of the working class that has been deceived.
Why even bother commuting the 37 if you’re not going to do it for all of them? I feel like it’s either you think death is an acceptable punishment or you don’t. I’ve had it with Biden’s half-ass everything.
He could still live a few years though. Honestly, between Clinton, Trump, Biden, and Carter - they’re all at an age where it could be anyone of them.
92.5% of the way there
Ah man, and I like red hats. Not MAGA, but just a nice fitted red hat. Another reason to not like the cult of 45.
Man, even the Trump “I did this” stickers will be too expensive
(Forget that McConnell is a year old than Newt)
Everyone letting McConnell off the hook like he’s not responsible for the past 20 years of deterioration of the Senate.
They’re accoutabilibuddies.
That is correct. The state legislatures generally (if not always) picked the senators, but due to huge state corruption, it was almost always political qui pro quo, and some states even going full terms without selecting sla sentaor. This led to the 17th amendment (which you’ll here rednecks and/or white supremacists asposing, because states’ rights.)
Edit to add: Wikipedia knows it better than I do.
The first one: “Work and starve.”
And he’s Hawley. I’m in Missouri and plenty of people here hate his guts. Granted I’m in a city, I hear that from a lot of people in the counties too.
He could be her Obama’s Luther.
Lulu Garcia-Navarro. I grew to like her when she was on NPR.
This was 538’s prediction before the 2016 election.
I never payed close enough attention, I always thought he looked like Samuel L Jackson in costume
No, that was some guy running for, I think, NY governor, but not actually running - he just wanted to use his platform to bring light to the issue of rent prices. --I had to google It while typing this out - Jimmy McMillan.
