Finally picked up Cassette Beasts when it went on sale and my kids and I are really enjoying it.
I like American music. Do you like American music? I like American music, too.

yes, but: why would I want to?
Well, yeah. But there’s also plenty of times where you can’t capitalize on good luck without a fair but of hard work. Generally, to succeed, a combination of luck, work, and help will all play into that success.
As promised, I have subbed.
I dunno, but I’d sub that.
just wait 'til you see what they did with “el lagarto”
No thanks! I decided when I switched to lemmy I was gonna avoid politics communities.
I was having that when I was using midwest.social as my main. Switched instances and it stopped.
Yeah that’s 100% porn.
They’ve been very openly talking about this for the last decade, it’s not even sneaky. Technocracy and meritocracy and government-as-a-business have all been buzzwords and all been outed as bad ideas by the experts, but the buzz keeps growing among the money crowd.
I will confess that I personally thought they were too stupid and rivalrous to pull it off.
well, I know what I’m eating for breakfast tomorrow
okay then, take morcilla sausage
I’ve been saying “our former President” but I guess I’ll have to change that soon.
I’ve avoided his name for years. You know he likes when people say his name and I just don’t want to give him the satisfaction.
What’s controversial about it?
Those, the GBA port of Zelda ][, and Mario Land 2, but I hadn’t had the cart for ML2 in over a decade by the time I was selling the rest.
We were playing on the GBA SP, but the cart was the GameBoy original that came with my (definitely dead but I still have it) grey brick GameBoy.
I sold all my GB/A carts except that and FFTA.
Found my old GBA that I thought I’d gotten rid of because the battery was borked. Turns out the battery still works, it’s the charging light that’s borked. My 6yo saw me rocking Tetris and I let him take a crack at it. He played for two hours straight.
Sounds like it’s lawful surveillance.
Lawful, but still hostile to their customers.
