I had to make the change to Windows 11 at work, it was certainly a downgrade. Pretty common that there is a massive wait for even the most simple applications to load. Quite often I end up opening multiple copies, because I think the first click to open didn’t register, click again and they all open at once. This is on the same hardware that Windows 10 did fine on.
Reminds me of a tiny Verbatim USB A one I had on my key ring for ages. https://www.storagereview.com/review/verbatim-tuff-n-tiny-usb-drive-review?amp
True but would you prefer weak enforcement or strong enforcement?
Strong enforcement would likely involve the government having better records of your browsing habits.

Plenty of items on eBay are just people who buy from China directly and mark up prices. If it is likely made in China and I don’t want it quickly, I’ll buy off aliexpress. That said, alibaba wanted me to upload photo ID which I noped out of. Temu started spamming my email address when I’d never used them. The unsubscribe link went to their website said to adjust your account settings if you didn’t want spam… I never created and account and avoided them completely following that.
In general the reasons could be, an opportunity to raise capital meaning they can ramp up production or produce a better product, and/or the current owners want to cash out.
More expensive in America, reduced demand might make them cheaper elsewhere?
Making enemies for generations to come.
Netflix have been making a profit since 2003 and only recently introduced ads. They are just trying to squeeze more profit.
I bought a pair and they are ok but for them to be a reasonable volume on my head, they physically buzz too much for my liking and it gets annoying. I just use regular headphones again now. If I am in a situation where I regularly have to talk to others while wanting to listen to something, I might pull them out of the draw again.
It still needs to learn. I’m personally trying to opt out of it watching everything I do, will have to be some pretty serious benefits for me to revert.
