We do have examples of buildings needing to account for the curvature of the earth.
One that comes to mind is The fountain at the Christian Science Mother Church in Boston…
It’s about a quarter mile long and the water flows evenly over the granite curbs along its entire perimeter. If it didn’t follow the earth’s curvature the water would all just spill over at the middle.
Im very surprised that noone here has mentioned the LHC in CERN Headquarters, Geneva, Switzerland. The LHC or Large Hadron Collider is so huge that it stretches across 2 countries (France and Switzerland) and stretches over a circumference of an impressive 17 miles (27 kilometers). It is so large that when building it they not only had to take into consideration the curvature of the LHC tunnel, but also the curvature of the earth.
Kinda reminds me of growing up with the DC sniper in my neighborhood, witnessing 911 happen on a crt tv, and seeing a recession start as soon as I graduated high school.
It took me a minute to realize you were not on wefwef

So I decided to be the change and create the community
So I tried again today and had no issues. I wonder if the server was overloaded or something

Can we do “no meta Mondays”
I think that would help a lot with content creation
Hey guys remember Monday is no meta Monday! We all need to do our part to create content
I would as they store massive amounts of data
Why are all these large tech companies failing this week? Is AI really decimating the internet on all fronts?
X-plore. Its the only one that lets you open multiple folders at once like you would on a desktop computer. It also is a built in FTP manager and will even replace your need to have separate cloud apps like Google Drive and Dropbox.
I was banded from /r/democrats because I said that Bernie would have beaten Trump
