Brexit was a very close one, and a lot of people who voted leave understand now it was all a lie, wished they had voted differently, and should be more dubious of Farage.
I have concerns young voters who are heavily influenced by social media and weren’t overly aware of the Brexit vote 8 years ago will be enticed to vote for Reform. They have seen what a shambles Tories were, and are exposed to the negatives of what Labour are up to, regardless of if they have done some good. They may wish to vote reform because it is perceived as change.
Is the free plan once a fortnight with even more marketing pamphlets thrown through the door?
I’m sure I remember when PA was first announced it was the first ludicrously overpriced game for early access, and they said the reason was that they only wanted people truly invested in the game to give feedback. It was a clear attempt at a money grab from those most excited. Given this is the same people I’m not surprised by their tactics.
As I get older I find other people’s religious beliefs fascinating and how they can affect that person’s personality, I may ask questions about it just so I can understand them a little bit better. But I can’t tolerate it being forced on me and I despised what was called RE (Religious Education) back in school. There are much more beneficial GCSEs for every day life that could probably be picked up.
I’m all for children being open minded to why people follow a religion, but I also feel there should be something to teach those children that currently follow a religion to keep it to themselves and not try to force it down other people’s throats.
I cannot wait for this, the Slay the Spire claimed so many hours of my life on PC when it released… and then again on mobile! I can only imagine the inclusion of additional animation will add more value. I also hope they take some inspiration from the Downfall mod as that was an absolutely solid addition.
Hopefully Badenoch thinking lunch is for wimps will lead to her getting burnt out. She has lunch brought in and has a steak, how much more out of touch can she get.
I feel like this whole article was put together to be able to post that picture of Ed and his sandwich.
Great trailer for the update, definitely hyped me up. I’m looking forward to fighting in a city setting.
Currently with energy suppliers we have to pay two charges:
The goal of this is to get rid of the standing charge as for example if someone is on holiday with no appliances running they are still being charged. It will in theory benefit those who try to limit their energy usage as much as possible. But energy companies will figure something out to avoid losing money from this.
Perhaps a modal the first time someone visits that shows the different UI options and directions on where to switch
When I say profit I mean money going to shareholders. The money made should be kept within the business (where possible) to fund its maintenance and development.
Of course they will, this is definitely a step in the right direction, but I’m not fooling myself into thinking what ever tariff they conjure up is going to be substantially cheaper.
Energy provision should never be for-profit, it should offer what is a necessity for people at the markets unit prices plus any maintenance/development on top.
A large portion of climate activism that is reported on is the ones that impact every day people just trying to make ends meet. This just makes people angry, and not at the right people that have the power to make positive changes but at the activists.
I don’t know how activists like Just Stop Oil could get people on their side, but ruining things that are part of history and being a nuisance to the every day person just trying to survive doesn’t feel like the right way.
I watched “Intelligence” this week, a British comedy featuring David Schwimmer and Nick Mohammed. It was pretty awful.
Now looking for a new lunchtime show to watch.
Beef Wellington is quite exciting I’d say.
This is well deserved. When the game first launched I could tell something was off about it. It obviously had a dreadful launch.
I can’t remember how many years later I was in the mood for a space exploration and saw NMS had an update. I grabbed it for about £8. Since purchasing it seeing constant substantial updates has been amazing. Every time one comes out I think “Ok guys, you’ve redeemed yourselves, you’re allowed to stop now!”
I like to work on a £1 per hour with my games, I’ve played 85 hours (I know, rookie numbers compared to what some people have) and I’m really pleased with my purchase.
Seeing the pride they have in their game and the efforts they have gone to to make the game they wanted and the lessons Hello Games have learnt, it leaves me looking forward to Light No Fire.
I enjoyed Anthem’s concept, the problem was that it was incomplete. The problem with live service games is that their primary objective is to make as much money as possible with minimal effort.
Anthem had potential, but it was ditched by EA.
I feel like one goal of this is to get rid of the blockers from housing development so that the government can try to reach their targets. I doubt we’ll see any improvements to waste collection, especially as in my area they are looking at changing the collection to every 2 weeks…
Seeing Stardew Valley behind QWOP, I suspect the list is in no particular order. Who could put such an outstanding game truly made with love that low in a list of top games of all time.
How about capping the amount they can earn above their lowest paid employee? For them to rise they have to take everyone with them
