1080p is fine, but I really like the colors of HDR. I am NOT a fan of the higher refresh rate for movies though.

Or, hey you spent all day on this for a dish that is “alright“
DST is sprung forward. It happens in the summer. Standard time is what the northern hemisphere is on now in the winter.
Fun fact. In the winter the sun is pretty close to its highest at Noon but I the summer that happens at 1:00 pm.
By putting the dollar sign first on checks it prevents someone from changing 100$ into 1100$
Insurance is like WIFI. You just want it to work without thinking about it. It’s only when there is a problem that you get angry.
And this picture doesn’t show the more recent models with the mag lock power, hdmi, and sd card reader.
Type c ports are the best. I connect my monitor through one and it has a type ports on it for a wired keyboard and speakers.
Just some light treason.
I hear electric cars all the time, they are not much quieter than an ice car. We don’t need to strap lawn mowers to our cars in the name of safety.
If it is equal representation, why does having districts make the rural vote heard? Whether it is one person one vote or 100,000 people one vote it won’t make a difference.
Everyone will still have their representatives and senators to hear them. In fact I think we need to increase the number of representatives. It needs to be a number that a person can reasonably represent. Say 50 or 100 thousand people per representative. This would also help with gerrymandering as having a lot of small districts would make everyone’s voice louder.
But for national positions like the president, we should have proportional votes, preferably with getting rid of first past the post that got us stuck with the two party system to start with.
As a Washingtonian I also dream of that. It is ridiculous that only people in states that are kinda purple have their opinions heard.
My county in Washington state has a website where you can check the status. I even get text or email notifications for the status. “We received your ballot”, “the signature was verified”, “your vote has been counted”.
There was even a problem with my signature once and all I had to do was log in and verify it and it was counted.
If your router/firewall is configured to let these broadcasts through you have a problem. If it is working correctly and you have an attacker on your lan? You have already lost.
Honestly we should set it so Wyoming has like 5 reps and then use that as a baseline. Increase the total number of reps 10 times and make each district manageable for one person to campaign in.
This would negate the problems with the electoral college and make gerrymandering much harder to pull off.
I already pay with my watch.
I don’t need anything that is between my phone and my laptop in size.
I love my shields, I have both the tube and the pro in different rooms. I like the Jellyfin AndroidTV app more than Kodi. I have side loaded a different launcher to avoid the ads.
I would love to try and replace it, but it needs to be able to handle 4K UHD rips with hdr and the original sound tracks in ATMOS or whatever.
Can SteamOS be installed on a desktop or is it only for the handhelds?
I got my wife a MIDI keyboard a couple years ago that used B. Ended up getting a B to C cable for it so it can plug into her laptop.
ON TOP OF SPA-GHETTI!!!
I have an anecdote that says the opposite. I got the same fridge, washer, and dryer from LG when we moved in our house 10 years ago and have had no problems with any one of them. My wife hates that we got a model with the freezer as a drawer on the bottom and would have preferred a side by side but no problems with anything breaking.
Our Bosch dishwasher on the other hand had a gasket start leaking during the pandemic and it took the repair people 4 or 5 months to get a replacement in. I think they were redesigning a faulty part at the same time as all the supply chain issues so we had a really bad time with that. It was only a couple years old at the time and has worked ever since.
I mean that’s a whole genre. The same could be said for Stardew Valley and that has a huge fan base.
More games should have the “lots of little things to collect and do” mechanic.
