Yeah, but think about how cool the word velociraptor sounds… so really… they were probably right, and science is just gonna have to take the L on this one. Rename all the stuff so that retroactively jurassic park is right. Problem solved.

They must be really lucky at picking their stocks.
Don’t interchange your snot and your pus, they do very different tasks.
Earthbound, gotta play that at least once in your life.
Chrono trigger, still one of the greatest games of all time.
Final Fantasy 6(US 3) there is debate, but widely regarded as the best one overall still. 7 is the other strongest contender, but if you are gonna play that one, don’t play the retro one, as one of the very first polygonal games, it’s hard to look at now.
Zelda (3), a link to the past.
There are certainly more, but those’ll last you a few months.
Edit: Suppose I can’t really get by without saying Rock n’ Roll Racing.
I have yet to get anything else to look or run as nice as virtual desktop, even stuff that lets you use higher bitrate just ends up bogging down the headsets decoder and not looking better while also having worse latency.
With VD I get a nice looking game at or below 30ms total latency.
And when I play from my computer while at my brother’s or friends houses, it’s 36ms or less latency, but otherwise looks the same.
And of course, when using the actual desktop mode instead of playing VR games, it’s an even bigger leap over the other options. Like <6ms latency, <12ms from other peoples houses. And two 4k 120hz screens, that actually look 4k, despite only having enough physical pixels to support 1440p at the 80 degree fov I have my monitors take up. But since every frame renders a slightly different set of pixels, you basically get a free sort of temporal anti-aliasing that effectively up-scales the resolution of the screen enough to see all the detail the real 4k screen is showing. Not every frame, but enough that your brain sees it anyway.
I’m not sure I like milk as an analogy to torrenting, as a healthy torrent has the users uploading too…
Random seed, no calculator. e 62.
He does random runs all the time, just a dude playing the game, alot, but just playing.
He does other runs with seeds and calculator too, but he does these ones.
And this is just one of the people I found doing it. There were others.
A calculator is not a mod. But yes, the calculator is just doing what the player could do but faster. It isn’t needed, just saves time. A good seed can also just happen, you don’t need to use an optimized seed finder to find it, just play alot and get lucky. Either one, however, is not a mod. Even using those would not be considered playing with mods on. Mods are things that actually modify game files, which is what mod is the short form of.
Hmm, that certainly wasn’t my goal. It just to me seemed like an explanation for where you were at. I’m autistic, so I’m certainly familiar with taking things too literally. I spent a couple decades working on not doing so.
It probably should have A name though… been going on real long just being called “the collection of states on this continent”.
I think you might have taken the cartoon too seriously in the first place… it’s literally a “cartoonish exaggeration”, we don’t literally hate these people, we are fully aware they are normal and doing normal things… though from your posts, it does seem like taking things literally is possibly a common occurrence in your life. We are having fun here, or at least the rest of us are, we thought you were too.
Did she happen to mention there is, in practice, a difference between casual and formal communication? And that different rules apply to each?
Hehe, non-annoying pedantry is tough to pull off, but when you do, it is my favourite form of comedy. Good job.
That doesn’t require a mod, though they could also have been using one coincidentally.
I suppose it depends on your definition of normal. But I specifically didn’t say it was normal for everyone, I said it was normal social anxiety. Which only affects around 10% of people. Still a pretty large number, that’s about the same as being left-handed. And yet you likely know more people that are left handed, because the odds of meeting someone with social anxiety are, of course, much lower even though just as many exist.
Without checking other comics in the same storyline I would have to guess roommate(I don’t know this chatacters living situation), the keyholes in some appartments are on both sides, she is inside her apartment trying to leave, and has been trying for long enough that the roommate is surprised.
There are other reasons to want to. But social anxiety is pretty common, so it’s generally a safe assumption.
This is a pretty common mentality we have to deal with. Someone that doesn’t have our problem, downplaying how big of a deal it is because they have never had to put much thought into it. It’s a physical difference in the structure of our brain. While we can learn ways to cope with it, we can’t ever “get over it”. We find ways to minimize triggering it, and ways to ride it out with the least amount of stress. And one of the ways that helps is sharing our struggles with the rest of our community for support, and trying not to care about outsiders shitting on us as we do so.
Hehe yeah, I figured with them having no context, that might make it easier to figure out which zelda it was quicker. There are a few kind of similarly named ones now if someone is coming in fresh.
