Viarail sucks, but Vancouver’s SkyTrain is a delight.

Also sometimes their spouses, like a lot more than the average amount.
I love black humor, but this is weak. A good black joke uses dark subjects to amplify effective humor, it’s not just funny because it’s crude. This is more akin to shock humor. The place it really falls short is the punchline imo.
Frankly I think the amount I’ve suffered probably detracts from it if anything; I’ve been there for two different friends after they lost a sister to suicide, both had been aggressively sexualized during their depression.
What even is the joke here? She decided to kill herself at home to reduce the likelihood of someone raping her corpse?
Or is it funny because the guy on the bridge saw her attempt at suicide as a sexual opportunity?
It’s almost like an anti-joke, where the humor comes from how offensive it is. It’s sad to think there are people who live this sort of experience, being seen as a sex object more than a human being, even in the darkest hours of their life. That’s gotta fuck someone up.
Trump is now the oldest living former president.
Ah, so same playbook as abortion with those scary ‘late stage abortions’ that are basically exclusively done to rescue people from dangerous and nonviable pregnancies.
Is that ever performed on minors for gender reassignment reasons anyway? It seems like a weird thing to ban. What’s next, are they going to make it illegal to perform GRS on dead people?
Xiaomi Pad 6 is a good price and is compatible with plenty of custom roms. Some people don’t trust them because it’s a Chinese brand, but I figure the odds are about the same that it’s got hardware level spying as a Google or Microsoft tablet. At least it’s easy to root or reformat.

Be nice, can’t you see they’re only able to afford red pixels?
RDP has some nice defaults that make things easy. VNC can operate pretty much the same, but it takes a bit more configuration.
Weird, I switched to an EV to save money. In my experience they’re wildly cheaper to maintain (no gas, no oil changes, no transmission/gaskets/fuel pump/filter/exhaust/spark plugs/starter/alternator, etc.), and my used EV cost the same as the used ICE cars I was looking at.
Most of the places I charge are free, I’ve saved more on gas than I paid for the car already.
Their refusal to fund his priorities resulted in the longest government shutdown in history.
You seem to be having trouble understanding this comic. Thanksgiving is being hosted by his relatives, who don’t want him there. Millions of Democrats host thanksgiving dinners every year. This would be one of those situations where he’s being told to fuck off over political differences (though it’s really more about he’s built his personality around those differences and desires to harm other family members with them)
Being so obnoxious and harmful that your family doesn’t want to be around you is not a commitment to family ties, it’s a commitment to your own ego.

She’s been pushing for a ceasefire since way before Biden supported it. I think her first calls for it came soon after the conflict started.

To each their own. Personally I can’t stand MS Office, I think Google Docs is easier for most nontechnical people these days anyway. For the rare cases when Office is needed, the web version works fine on Linux.
LibreOffice works great, and WPS Office is proprietary but at least it’s free.
Personally I write my documents in markdown and use pandoc to convert them into PDF or docx or whatever. It’s like writing the source code and then compiling, I like it.
I’m sure you’ve looked into all that, but for anyone else who is interested in alternatives those are my recommendations.
Pfft, proprietary propaganda. How hard is it to let go of every app you’re familiar with, learn half a dozen scripting languages, and memorize a hundred different commands in vim?
What you say is true, though I’ve become so jaded with Microsoft that I don’t think there’s any software or situation I’d use Windows for; I’d sooner switch to Mac.
It has service every 3 minutes, fully autonomous, and the coverage has been expanding consistently. The T started in 1889, it’s got a hundred years head start on SkyTrain.
