  • “Nintendo WILL announce the Switch 2 in March. Everything I’m hearing dating back to Gamescom last year has indicated something was happening in March. That talk has resurfaced in the past few weeks, and it is indicating that the Switch 2 is set for a reveal or an announcement in March.”

That’s from the same RELIABLE leaker from a year ago and that’s just the first one I saw. The amount of leakers who claimed it would get announced over the last year is comically large. I guess if you post this once a week eventually you’ll be right. I mean, yeah an announcement seems likely at this point but there’s no need to bring Randomguess McGee into the conversation.

  • Every day some engineer would have to answer his questions. “Can we remove brown?” “Pardon me?” “The color, brown, can we remove it?” “I’m sorry I don’t understand, remove it from where? I don’t think our rocket has any b-” “No, I mean from the world. Maybe with our satellites?” “I…don’t think that’s something we’ll be able to-” “How about birds? I don’t like them. They remind me of god.” “We…we’ll look into it.”

  • At least in 3 you could choose to play solo which was way less laggy than this open world mess and most important of all you could fucking pause the game. Being in a nightmare dungeon with one of a throusand affixes that force you to move at all times or you die by some shit that’s constantly chasing you and then the door bell rings is great. Just great.

  • Challenging content isn’t a big part of arpgs because when you look closer at it you realize that the gameplay really isn’t cut out for it. It’s not like a souls game where you dodge and carefully time your attacks. They’re not balanced for this at all. If you play on a difficulty that would be considered challenging this game kinda falls apart. As a barbarian there’s no elegant way of dealing with elite range mobs that drop multiple effects on the ground and then shoot you. You deal with them by having gear good enough to just blast through them. If you actually have to dodge all those things it gets incredibly clunky and frustrating. Tldr; the gear grind is all they have.
