Not always, Apex Legends added a 3v3 Arenas mode on smaller maps way after the initial battle royale release.
I didn’t get upset, irate or angry though. None of my questions were hostile. I was keeping a softer tone than you did in any of your responses. In fact, from my side, you seem pretty angry right about now. Maybe you are, maybe you are not. I don’t really care.
Regarding your “tiki bar” comment — last I checked, this is a Games community, not a Steam community. I stated my opinion, like you said. I know the opinion of the capital G Gamer on Epic Store perfectly well. The thing is that I enjoy poking people into their hypocrisies every now and then, in hopes that they will spot the contradictions in their argument and that will make them think for themselves a little bit. But I guess the capital G Gamers are not the best audience for these exercises.
No. Why do you ask?
Thank you for bringing me up to date on all the Epic Store hate opinions, not like I’ve read that a million times before. I’m glad you decided that the conversation was about the store when my original comment was about a game. Why are you changing the topic of discussion?
The “one specific game” wasn’t mentioned, yes. Just to me it’s pretty weird to make decisions on whether I like the game or not, based on the store and not the quality of the game itself. So I stated my opinion on that part specifically. You know, how commenting typically works in platforms such as this.
Nothing of this that you’ve described is related to the one specific game. I don’t really like Epic Store because it has a shitty UI, but I like Alan Wake 2 enough to want to buy it on release. I don’t want a personal crusade to stand in a way of me enjoying a great game. I don’t give a shit, honestly, I will get my favorite games wherever they are available as long as it’s on PC.
I mean I guess that means you don’t like the game that much if your priorities are to skip it because of the store.
There are a lot of reasons why. Mastodon apps are not pretty. The logo is not attractive. The signup where you need to pick the server for some reason is confusing. The reputation Mastodon already has among the general public, that it’s the place for Linux enthusiasts, is not doing it any more favors.
You say that the algorithms have ruined everything but it’s just not true. Discoverability is dead on Mastodon. The platform doesn’t suggest me any new people to follow. The vocal minority against the recommendation algorithms is just that, a vocal minority. Recommendations are useful if they are not obtrusive.
I’ve been trying to keep my Mastodon account active for two years and I’ve been posting some random shit the same way I did on Twitter. I’ve been looking for some fun idiots but there are none, it’s all uptight serious people who are honestly pretty insufferable to read. I deleted my Mastodon account half a year ago and the one thing I appreciate is how easy it was — just a couple of clicks and you’re done.
Calling out bad actors gives them an audience. Nine of your readers will agree that this person is a piece of shit but the tenth will think “hmm maybe there’s some truth to this” and follow that bad actor. And that’s how it propagates. No, nothing but blocks and silent treatment to people feeding on outrage.
And also, isn’t Copilot in other MS products besides Windows as well? Even if not now, it could be in the future. This naming would make it limiting to expand.
I’m waiting for some names, my dude.
Also, LDPR, KPRF and any other smaller bullshit is not opposition, any other opinion is uninformed and/or pro-Putin. Yabloko was opposition until about 2016 but not for longer.
There’s even opponents to Putin who’ve had more electoral success than getting 27% in a mayoral election.
And I’m sure you have the list at hand and ready to inform me, since me, a Russian who lived in Russia until the war started, has no idea who the hell you’re talking about. Please include the examples after 2010 at least, the political activity before that is not super relevant.
Perhaps you could get off your high open-source horse and try reading what I actually wrote. I’m talking about cramming in a million buttons and 0.1 line height so there are 20 comments shown at once. I don’t need my mobile app to look like old.reddit.com, I need it to be actually readable and usable from a small screen. Ads (which are shown in the feed and can be scrolled past) have nothing to do with that.
Yes because ads are the only thing making a difference in the comfort of using an app. Comfortable design (that doesn’t try to cram a million things into a small phone screen) and intuitive navigation mean nothing I guess.
Because apps with ads (specifically Sync that I use) have better UX and more features than anything open-source. Sorry but that’s it.
Now on Tap also used OCR. Both Google Lens and Now on Tap get the same bullshit results on any languages that are not Latin. Literally, Ж gets read as >|< by both exactly the same.
Garmin hybrid watch might be something you’d like.
I have no complaints about Pixel 4a and I’m planning to upgrade to 8 soon.
Pixel is the only decent Android phone if you don’t like Samsung.
Literally the only rule Musk follows is the rule of power. Legal shit means nothing, might is right. So yeah, govs should deal with him the same way before it’s too late.
