The button doesn’t seem to be available in Kbin. What’s the markup code for it? I’ll just do it manually.

Some major spoilers below! Since there’s no markup for spoiler text yet, here’s a gap to indicate spoilers. If you haven’t seen the movie yet, skip this comment.

Loved the movie, but found that the ending was the weakest part. I don’t mind the resolution we got, it’s just how we got that resolution that has some parts missing. How did the people suddenly go from fearing her to calling her a hero? Sure, she saved the city from getting blown up, but one act alone doesn’t easily undo a thousand years of prejudice. After all, it doesn’t seem like anyone knows the truth about what happened between Nimona and Gloreth. How did they clear Nimona’s name of the Director’s accusation? Who runs the kingdom now? Why didn’t that dudebro knight get his face punched in? The ending was fine, but they glossed over a lot of parts that would have made the ending make more sense.
Edit: Well, looks like the Lemmy spoiler code doesn’t work on Kbin.
Somebody needs to come up with a proper isekai title for this show.
Maybe the moron didn’t realise downvotes were public?
As of a few days ago, Tampermonkey wasn’t compatible with Firefox Android (it’s what I tried first). There was a way to get Firefox Beta to install Tampermonkey, but it wasn’t straightforward. This happens often with the official Firefox Stable, where add-on compatibility gets left behind sometimes during updates.
If you think that’s nice, try it with the Kbin Usability Pack userscript. You’ll need the Tampermonkey extension to use it, so you’ll have to get Fennec (a fork of Firefox mobile) on F-Droid to use it. A bit of a hassle, but well worth it. I pair it with the Kbin Enhancement Script.

No. It’s decentralized like the Fediverse, but it doesn’t use ActivityPub. I think there are some 3rd party developers working on an ActivityPub-Bluesky bridge, but nothing concrete yet.
The new Twitter CEO, who we know is really just there to take the fall for Musk’s bullshit decisions.
Not a fan of Zuck and Bezos either, but let’s be real: those two would smoke the other team.
Blink twice if the raccoon on your head is controlling you.
Considering that this is the most hated person on Reddit other than spez himself, no tears were shed.
Of course they’re claiming responsibility for the John Oliver thing. Considering their history, I doubt it. But even if they were involved, it’s the community at large that was responsible for the John Oliverification of Reddit.
It’s not going to have a direct material effect, but it’s going to affect perception. There are already people cautious about corporate influence on Linux, and a Linux distro getting closed like this is going to be seen negatively. While Fedora and RedHat are separate entities, they’re close enough for one’s perception to rub off on the other.
Yes to the rice cooker. Also, there’s no need to get one of those expensive models. Someone did some blind tests with his elderly Japanese in-laws (so you know they’re serious about rice) and they found that the mid-range ones are the best for cost effectiveness. https://youtu.be/WXgFtZK_XxM
Next thing you know, he’ll tell us that boxes of classified documents were mixed in with his ex-wife’s body.
Fedditor sounds like a nice, platform-neutral term, but it might be a little too close to Reddit. I can’t think of an alternative, though. But your idea of a general Fediverse term rather than a platform specific one is good.
Yeah, I’ve seen some people upset about these things and complain that it doesn’t stop the flow of traffic, and that in fact it may increase interest in Reddit. Some want the blackout to continue indefinitely. But that’s impossible since Reddit will just force the subs open and replace the mods. So the next best thing is malicious compliance. Sure, Reddit will still see traffic from people curious about what’s going on, but these meme-y protests is still rendering the site essentially unusable while still keeping to the letter of Reddit’s demands.
I assume they’re realistic enough to know that this really won’t go anywhere and that the whole point of the discussion is simply to make some noise.
It does if you want to migrate your favorites and subscriptions.
