I ignored this excellent point. Definitely lots of folks who have street legal vehicles (or race in street legal circuits) that have to run gasoline and tune for that. Thanks for pointing it out 🙂

Not to further fuel the learned terrorists, but race gas generally isn’t gasoline, like your first statement. I don’t think any racing orgs allow pure alcohol anymore in the US, but some related form or nitromethane. Anyway, none of this belongs in a regular car, either 😬

I was on a back country work trip about ten years ago, and everyone except one other person and myself got Norovirus. They were having profuse diarrhea and vomiting at the same time, while we all had to hike several miles to a vehicle. I can’t see how anyone could leave home 🤢
I work for the US gov’t (in a very different capacity), and know folks who won’t write anything down, and will only talk in person or maybe on the phone. They will send a message to meet in their office, or come to my room. I’m not even involved in sensitive stuff. Madness.

I’m not sure. The last time I believe I showed any insurance info at a CVS was a few years ago with a different policy # but same provider and plan. Based on what you stated, they may well have been able to chase my current info down despite some gaps in coverage.

Ya, I remember it being mentioned when I worked for them about 25 years ago. Unfortunately I cannot find any articles. All local news at the time, probably. Towns that had citizens who banded together and successfully combatted Walmart moving in, etc.
