4 days agoClassic Press is a fork of WordPress that leaves out Gutenberg and has all the legacy PHP < 7.4 stuff stripped out. It’s nice.

That’s an interesting but very limited study. I’d like to see it expanded.
The EPA and FDA set limits and regulate pesticide, herbicide, and antibiotic use. A raw or paleo diet probably won’t help much without both agencies.

3·21 days agoI want up, down, on, off. If I feel the need to tinker, I’ll start yet another project that I’ll probably never finish.
I like Deezer. I’ve been using it and telling people about it since Spotify was insistent about being focused on chasing a politically charged content (over) investment instead of delivering quality, behavior driven content based on their algo.
It’s easy to avoid buying things from Amazon. It’s hard to avoid AWS. It would be insane to try to suss out what provider everyone that I buy stuff from uses, and their third party relationships. Regulation is better.

I was just thinking today that this will never go away. I then realized that this ideologic poison has existed far longer than I have, and will sadly exist much longer than I will. I’m not sure what to do with that other than always stand up when I can, do what I can, and hope for the best. We have great potential.
By that logic, initiatives are always affected by an election year. An election of some variety is always around the corner.
The SCOTUS ruling didn’t happen until June, 2023. The president does not set the Supreme Court’s agenda.
I’ve used “mobile workstations” that I certainly wouldn’t want to keep on my lap for any amount of time. I’d definitely refer to it as a laptop if not in an IT type discussion though.
