The only reason for the article to exist is to have an excuse to serve ads.
The article has one sentence on using older versions for better compatability with some games.
The rest of the article is basically summed up by “bigger number means newer”
The whole article seemed very surface level and didn’t really give any more info than could be derived from the names of the versions. As for the community forks mentioned people could find much better info just looking at the readme.
Maybe I’m just too technical but it just feels to me as pointless as an article explaining the difference between hot and cold taps on a sink.

It’s separate containers for all the services, if you scroll down the readme you’ll find the compose file they recommend to start you out.

On the couple of AUR packages I maintain neglect I have been approached via email to add people as co-maintainers. I don’t always have the time to keep the packages up to date so I was happy to let someone else help out.
Might be something worth looking into rather than an orphan request.

My wife has lived in the UK for 20 years on an EU passport, she was 12 when she moved here, she is directly impacted by general elections as are all of us who live in the UK. This is the first year she can vote in one of these elections because we finally scrapped the money together to apply for her citizenship.
How does someone who has not lived in the country for 50 years have more of a say than the people living here. It doesn’t make sense.
This is starting to feel like their way of blocking Fallout London from releasing indefinitely.
They should still be charged if the wrong amount of postage has been paid.
So if you send what royal mail count as a large letter but with a normal stamp instead of a large letter stamp they will be fined and charged the difference in postage.

I build on my laptop and then add to the repo stored on my NAS.
I’ve also got chaotic-aur set up as they tend to build the bulk of what I need from the AUR so I only have to build the more niche packages I use.
I did something similar with Puppet a while ago, it also runs as root so hot the same problem.
My solution was to set up my own package repo for the AUR packages I needed and just build them periodically. This way I only have to build them once for all the machines.
I have never once missed it. I’ve already switched to Bluetooth for my headphones and car. At home I cast to the hifi or Bluetooth speaker.
I got an adaptor to let me use cabled headphones when I need to and I’ve used it twice, once was to test it even worked.
The use case just doesn’t exist for me anymore.
