    Mozilla with 500M google funding spent it on bakers salary and buying shit companies that they layer write off.

    They may not be evil, but sure are incompetent.

    3 guys made basically a new engine in a couple of years with minimal funding while improving standards.

    The only good thing that came out of mozilla in years was rust/servo.

    Radical opinion: the sooner mozilla dies, the better. We will have alternatives. In fact, we have them already.

    I’d say they’re still not evil, they unfortunately just let themselves be captured by an evil company to keep them afloat.

    The closest browser with their marketing budget that’s not necessarily evil.

    I dunno. I’m reading through the Teixeira v Mozilla documents a little at a time, and Moz does not want the court to have a copy of the independent audit on their business ethics (or lack threreof)

    …and even insinuated the report might not even be true.

    I don’t think that any browsers have a lot by way of moral or ethical positions. Yet. We’ll see what happens with AI software. :-)
