Personally I do hope it was someone on the left.
The only thing sadder than watching our democracy crumble under fascism is watching it go down without a fight.
When we’re a Nazi dictatorship and decent people have to hide, the newer generations will ask what we did to stop it, and so far our only answer is:
“Not a goddamn thing”
