It’s the first such order in the mounting legal saga surrounding President Donald Trump’s use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport hundreds of men to a supermax prison in El Salvador.
If sitting idly by while fascism takes over is such a crime then why aren’t you holding to task the actual elected representatives from the DNC who not only allow Trump to do whatever he wants but also vote along with Republicans to ensure their bills are passed?
Your argument is akin to those who claim regular people receiving welfare are responsible for all our government’s debt while giving a pass to all the wealthy individuals raiding our government coffers. It’s complete nonsense.

Why do you assume they aren’t? It is possible to voice dissatisfaction to the DNC for their failings and also voice dissatisfaction to non-voters for theirs. I don’t know where this idea comes from that a person can only do one political thing ever. It is very possible to do multiple things.
Because they’re bending over backward to “white knight” for the Dems and shield them from any criticism here in the comments. They’re no different than the MAGA sycophants.
Are they? It certainly looks a lot more like they’re just refusing to white knight the people who were bending over backwards to boycott the Dems in the face of actual fascism. That’s not sycophancy, that’s fighting against the “leftists” who poison praxis with vain ideology. A noble contribution to the leftist cause.
You were voting for fascism with either one of these candidates. The Dems lost because they’re just watered down MAGA at this point, which appeals to no one. They ran yet another shit campaign with a shitty candidate and got Trump elected again, almost as if that was their intent all along, but maybe it’s because Harris didn’t parade around with the Cheneys enough.
You can’t even make a defense for the Dems here other than “they’re not Republicans,” so maybe you should point that anger toward the very people running the party and making the decisions that make them less appealing than an elderly reality TV host and not at the people who are sick of their shit.

Harris told pro-Palestinians protesters to let her finish speaking. Trump stripped their degrees and deported then. Dems are problematic in their own neo-liberal way, but they weren’t kidnapping innocent people and shipping them off to Salvadorian death camps. We can criticize the Dems without equating them with the other, much worse major party.

Again, I don’t know where you get the idea that it’s difficult to do both. I’ve got plenty of anger to go around, and lots of guilty parties that helped get us where we are: the oligarchs themselves, MAGA, non-MAGA that voted R anyway, Congress, SCOTUS, the Biden administration, the DNC, and the abstainers.
Each one deserves their own bespoke ire, delivered in a method suited to reaching them. I point my anger and my words in the same direction. When I’m mad at my senator, I write my senator, and take other actions designed to communicate my disapproval to my senator. This particular space is a hotbed for idealistic, counterproductive leftists. Guess who it’s most protective to criticize here?
Why are you here calling people names instead of directing that anger towards the ones responsible?
How’s your vote working out for you?

Not great - a bunch of morons either didn’t vote or voted for an authoritarian.
