You know what really pisses me off about the paul pelosi attack? Like, really just makes me want to eat some bacon?

I have seen cop training. I know what they do. One of the favorite training methods is a projected screen (to get things to life size), with some fancy tools to track where a fake gun/taser/pepper spray is pointed, and there are two guys running the computer in the background as an officer interacts with the scenario on the screen. The computer guys can change the scenario based on what is said/done/acted. There is a scenario that usually comes up with entry into a house where one person has a crowbar and is kneeling above another person lying supine beneath him.

The cops have a training scenario for this screams internally EXACT FUCKING SCENARIO! And they are ALL taught that the correct answer is to shoot the person with the crowbar if the scenario suddenly shows him lifting the crowbar for another strike.

That dude with the hammer should have been kirked.

The subtle difference was that Pelosi’s attacker had his hands on the hammer as well as Pelosi and they were both white. It looks like they were unsure as to who the attacker was.

What you do in a training scenario and what you do when it actually happens are two different things. Cops likely had no idea who the victim was, so them having inaction because of who it was is very unlikely

What you do in a training scenario and what you do when it actually happens are two different things.

You’re absolutely right, and that may be the case. However, it must be admitted that is is much more rare to not follow your training than to carry out what you’ve trained for when you train for a specific scenario. Plus, this wasn’t even a split second thing. The fact that they’re at the door talking to the dude for a significant period of time gave them a lot of time to do the whole ‘one gun, one taser’ cop thing.

They are paid off by Russia to do this. This isn’t per se religion, this is sophisticated modern digital warfare. That’s why he got so wealthy and is so deep in crypto - crypto is the perfect way to transfer money discretely between countries.

Like look at Sapolsky or Chomsky or other intellectuals who actually do and say things that contribute to collective knowledge for decades - they don’t have millions of dollars. They say factual stuff, Charlie et al said lies - so how did he get money? He isn’t even the first to say those specific lies, plenty of Christian bigots have existed. So why was he so big? Russia and foreign governments literally propped him up to be a weapon against our country. He killed a lot of people.

“The Department’s seizure of 32 internet domains secretly deployed to spread foreign malign influence demonstrates once again that Russia remains a predominant foreign threat to our elections,” said Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco. “At Putin’s direction, Russian companies SDA, Structura, and ANO Dialog used cybersquatting, fabricated influencers, and fake profiles to covertly promote AI-generated false narratives on social media. Those narratives targeted specific American demographics and regions in a calculated effort to subvert our election. Our republic depends on elections that are free from foreign interference, and we will not rest in our efforts to expose foreign malign influence operations and protect our democracy, without fear or favor.”

The propaganda did not identify, and in fact purposefully obfuscated, the Russian government or its agents as the source of the content. The perpetrators extensively utilized “cybersquatted” domains, a method of registering a domain intended to mimic another person or company’s website (e.g., registering washingtonpost.pm to mimic washingtonpost.com), to publish Russian government messaging falsely presented as content from legitimate news media organizations. In other instances, the perpetrators sought to create their own unique media brands to promote Doppelganger content (e.g., Recent Reliable News). Among the methods Doppelganger used to drive viewership to the cybersquatted and unique media domains was the deployment of “influencers” worldwide, paid social media advertisements (in some cases created using artificial intelligence tools), and the creation of social media profiles posing as U.S. (or other non-Russian) citizens to post comments on social media platforms with links to the cybersquatted domains, all of which attempted to trick viewers into believing they were being directed to a legitimate news media outlet’s website.

As far as I can tell this has diddly squat to do with Kirk? He’s been around long enough that I’m gonna need you to clear a pretty high bar of evidence to call him an entirely Russian fabrication (in fact this would suggest that he is entirely AI generated).

Another thing, why would you absolve American media organizations of their interests in a guy like Kirk? Like you said, our media has parroted the types of things that Kirk did since long before the internet age, but there’s a good number of folks like him in the modern day. Are you saying they are all built from the ground up by russian crypto? Are we ignoring the interests of American corporations, billionaires, religious zealots, and their related super PACs in election meddling and dark money?

LOL please explain how. What’s the mechanism? I mean besides your confirmation bias. Show me how. Brain rays? What are you even talking about?

You think your all powerful amazing empire can be destabilized (as if stability is somehow owed to you? Despite all the other empires in history that have fallen without Russia?) by what? Five gifs? A weak and disorganized country of drunks that is also somehow the greatest threat in the Big Bang?

Is anything in your country your responsibility?

This “Russia Russia Russia” stuff is like a child caught in a lie and pointing at his sibling saying “it was HIIIIM!”

Grow up. None of these brainworm ideas are the cause of your “destabilization”. In any case, propaganda works both ways, and you can find just as much of it, as you say, for LEAST the last decade, or 5 or 6.

Yet somehow you were able to launch Apollo 11 during the peak of the Cold War Soviet Union, when the brain rays were stong.

                Yet NOW you’re uniquely destabilized.

Nothing the left or centre does will ever be enough. Violence is upon you whether you recognize it or not.

Their shitty views were being advanced regardless of the circumstances because the psychopaths aren’t constrained by morals, ethics, logic, reason, facts or coherence. Everything is disingenuous, and used for weaponized purpose.

Everything is disingenuous. Everything is disingenuous. Everything is disingenuous.

There is no logic. No reason. No debate. Everything they do and say is to grab power for power’s sake. Your mistake, is to imply that if Kirk weren’t killed, the fascists would have less reason to hate, persecute and commit acts of violence on everyone else. They hate you not because of what you do, but that you broke their cardinal rule - you’re not one of them, therefore a target.

They’ll keep using this ‘your intolerance feels like their intolerance’ argument, and this is the answer. It’s like they’re surprised about what intolerance for intolerance feels like. It feels like intolerance. Treating fascists like fascists by acting fascist doesn’t make someone a fascist. It makes them reasonable. They mocked the tolerance of the left so much, now they can meet the intolerant left.

You’ll hear them whine more and more about ‘horseshoe theory.’ This is what they’re crying about. Remember that they can choose to not be a fascist or fascist apologists, and be met with tolerance. But they victimize people based on things that are not choices.

It’s a longer term play. If 40% of the populace is committed against MAGA, and 40% is irredeemable invested in MAGA, that leaves 20% so out of touch with current events they haven’t formed any strong opinion. Yes, the MAGA administration is going to do the bullshit anyway. But feeding into the “both sides are the same” narrative might tip the balance of voters into re-voting in the bullshit doers.

“Why is the Republican Party, why is the conservative movement to blame for gay, schizophrenic nudists that are hemp jewelry-makers breaking into somebody’s home, or maybe not breaking into somebody’s home,” Kirk said in the segment. “Why are we to blame for that exactly?” “And why is he still in jail? Why has he not been bailed out? By the way, if some amazing patriot out there in San Francisco or the Bay Area wants to be a midterm hero, someone should go and bail this guy out… Bail him out and then go ask him some questions.”
