They attack and they attack. When a perceived attack happens they act like now is the time to attack. Just like yesterday and the day before.

The Minnesota political assassinations were less than 3 months ago.

These fuckers are just freaked out that the people they encourage their followers to shoot may be starting to shoot back.

We didn’t know who shot Kirk. The last few attempts on Republicans were also conducted by Republicans.

Maga was spreading the news that the shooter was a liberal within minutes. The vast majority will believe that they’re under attack by liberals despite any news or facts to the contrary. Anything else will be viewed as another conspiracy.

Reality is not a place where Maga and Fox News live.

The shooter could be a live long Republican with the parents, spouse, and kids all being Republicans. They could have the dog trained to attack minorities and they could be someone that was very publicly vocal about every and all Republican talking points.

But they’d find a single photo where they are wearing a blue shirt and say they’ve secretly been a Democrat all their life.

Even if it turns out to be a liberal, that’d make what, 1 in 10 shooters being on the left? 1 in 100? It’s clearly a lefty gun epidemic. If only Republicans could read… Also, no one will ever be caught for this one. That way they can speculate to high heaven and never be wrong.

If it doesn’t matter if the shooter is conservative, it doesn’t matter if the shooter is progressive.

We need to stop making things matter when they don’t. Who cares what the shooter was. They never do.

Yep. I saw someone comment on the shooting earlier today on one of the mainstream articles - first commenter says “liberal violence needs to stop”, next commenter says “both attempts on donnie were Republicans”, third commenter denies that (I’m pretty sure the shooter that broke glass near donnie was a con, not sure about the other guy that set up a backpack near one of his golf courses, but he didn’t even get off a shot).

They already think the guy that had Taco wearing that performative bandage for weeks on end because of broken glass nearby was a liberal.

Facts don’t matter to these clowns. At all.

It’s probably a disgruntled MAGAt, although the fact that they are still at large probably means they are too smart to have been a MAGAt.

Then again, if it were a white male with a red hat they probably could have slipped in and out pretty easily. Has anyone done the math on how far the shot was?

Do they even know what they’re saying? Socrates was so polarizing he was put to death because his opinions were too controversial at the time. (This isn’t to imply the same for Kirk. He’s just an asshole, and he won’t be remembered by history.)

They just keep escalating their violent rhetoric and and actions without regard to the law. If you make violence inevitable, the threat of violence as a punishment becomes meaningless.

I would say the only things more American than the fact we don’t negotiate with terrorist is our negotiations with terrorists or our acts of (state sanctioned, so they don’t use the term) terrorism.

No, it was meant literally. Pedophilia is a basic tenet of the MAGA Party, along with treason, racism, corruption, rape, misogyny, ignorance, and incompetence.

My brother in christ, your side had already deployed the military on American soil and kidnapped our neighbors, this ain’t a start of a war, it’s engaging with an active invasion.

Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to “Mom! He’s bugging me!” and “I’m not touching you!” Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That’s all the rules!
